More Things Need To

http://morethingsneed.to/
What was needed: My friend and I have had fun making up funny lines in the form "more ____ need to ____" for a long time. We wanted a place to keep track of all the lines we came up with, and decided to create a website that allowed anyone to contribute these lines.
What was done: Created a full AJAX-powered Ruby on Rails application to record the funny lines. More Things Need To features a sortable list of all the submitted lines and allows users to contribute their own, add comments to existing ones, and vote for their favorites. Because all the user-based features are open to anonymous users, the back end also employs a custom-built spam filtering system.
