Rady School of Management

What was needed: Build web templates based on a Photoshop mockup. Create a random quote generator. Pull random excerpts from an external WordPress blog for display on the home page. Everything must be done without server-side scripting.
What was done: Carefully replicated the original Photoshop mockup to pixel perfection using XHTML and CSS. Built a custom quote generator in JavaScript that pulls quotes from a categorized database and displays a quote depending on which page the user is viewing. Created an Ajax application that reads from an XML RSS feed, selects a random blog entry and formats it for display. Extensive browser compatibility testing to ensure the same behavior among all popular web browsers.
